    Is HitBtc a con?

So I bought 1000 dent a while ago on this exchange ( as it was one of two who supplied it)
Iíve just looked at transferring it out to a wallet but the fee is 1000 coins. ( as in ALL of my holdings)
WTF is that all about. Now it looks like I canít do anything with it.
I asked support if this was correct but they ignored me.

I encountered a similar issue with Binance and TRX. Had to fork over nearly 20% of my position just to get it off the exchange. That just doesn't seem right, especially when it varies from coin to coin. Withdrawing DGB was only 0.5 units -- not even 5 cents. There must be a way for support to help you. Keep pestering them...

That is very high. KuCoin has a withdrawal fee of 50 DENT coins.

If you don't get any satisfaction from support, not sure if this will work for you.

Their trading fees are pretty low. If you could exchange your DENT for ETH and buy STEEM with the ETH you should get approx. 8.4 STEEM and the withdrawal fee for STEEM is .01. Just a thought.

EDIT - Looks like HitBTC doesn't have STEEM/ETH pair...you would probably have to trade DENT/ETH, ETH/BTC and then STEEM/BTC

Just had confirmation from support that the fee is indeed 1000 coins.
Looks like I’ll have to do what you suggest but for now I think I’ll hold it there as it’s pretty much worthless at the minute.

When in doubt, look to the DOGE!
